Beauty, no beast.
Gershon Bachus is one of the most beautiful wineries in Temecula. Their expansive grounds and 360 degree views are breathtaking. One of their Dachshunds made it into a book called Wine Dogs USA. They produce a wine which is a blend of 3 different years and 3 different varietals. They number their bottles X out of X and name their wines after Greek and Roman gods and goddesses.
Things I learned at this winery:
Freestanding vines are head pruned to produce better air flow through the canopy of the vine.
I should read a book called “Shadows in the Vineyards,” based on a true story.
