Traditional with a splash of fun.

Churon Winery is traditional French and Italian with a splash of fun. I could actually taste violet in their 2013 Barbera. The owners, Chuck + Ron = Churon, had a vision for the winery — to be able to walk the grounds with a glass of wine in hand, to enjoy the beauty fully.

Things I learned at this winery:

We went at a busy time on a Friday. The serving area was full, with one fabulous person working the room. But she didn’t have much time to spend with us.
